The Ledbury

3 stars champion, at last!

Trout, raspberry, wasabi

The Ledbury, led by chef-owner Brett Graham, has established itself as a beacon of culinary excellence in London. The restaurant's philosophy is rooted in the use of the finest seasonal ingredients, with a focus on world-class yet relaxing service. Every dish is a testament to the creativity and precision that landed The Ledbury a third-Michelin-star in 2024 and became the No. 1 in 'UK's 50 Best Restaurants' from the trade media Restaurant magazine. I am a super fan and have been a regular, but the recent 24th visit is the first time since it became a 3-star venue.

Seabass, asparagus, oyster

Veal sweetbread, white wine, peas and lime

Lobster, girolle, peach and truffle

The lobster and truffle dish was a new dish and packed with so many flavours, the lobster itself was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the complicity of the sauce of mushrooms, dashi and chamomile, I found it hard to describe but the umami level of the dish was sensational. The main Iberico pork is from its own farm, which has imported Iberico pork from Spain and raised in the UK by chef-owner Brett. The pork itself, as expected was very tender and moist, it was interesting to have cherries which added a sour tone to balance off the fattiness of the pork. It looked so beautiful and tasted wonderful at the same time.

Shitake, Jersey Royal Potato, Buckwheat Koji and truffle

Iberico pork, cherries and olive

I always found The Ledbury is better than other 3 stars in London such as Sketch and Alain Ducasse even back in its 2 stars days, so it is only fair that now it has joined the 3 stars club. Dining at The Ledbury is more than just a meal—it’s an experience that engages all the senses. From the moment you enter, you are treated to a level of service and culinary artistry that is rare even in a city as diverse as London. Whether you are a local or a visitor, The Ledbury offers a taste of something truly special, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the best that London’s food scene has to offer
