Bibimbap Soho

Superb Korean food Superb price

Pork & vegetable mandoo

If you are looking for an affordable Korean meal in central London, I cannot think of a better place other than Bibimbap in Soho. The menu contains mostly classic Korean comfort food at a very reasonable price, I have tried plenty of Bibimbap rice pot in London, and so far there isn't one that can compare to Bibimbap (The restaurant) if you factor in the quality vs the price. Once again, I ordered a few side dishes followed by a bowl of steamed hot Beef Bool-Go-GI Rice. The Mandoo, a type of fried Korean dumpling was solid, the mixture of the pork, vegetable was at a good balance with great seasoning.

Kimchi – traditional spicy pickled cabbage
Pan-fried mixed seafood pancake
Deep-fried squid seasoned with sea salt and chilli
Beef Bool-Go-Gi Rice

The deep fried chilli squid was not as spicy as I was expecting, however the sea salt and chilli element, together with the finely blended spicy garlic and chilli dipping sauce made this such a lovely bar snack, and it was perfect with a bottle of ice cold beer. Overall, another great value for money meal at Bibimbap, just as good as my first meal when I had had it at the Charlotte Street branch. Nothing fancy, just very rock solid simply Korean food. This is a great place for a quick lunch grab or a budget dinner occasion. You can't not go wrong with Bibimbap.
