Before the meat party, first I had a pair of starters. The classic garlic prawns were cooked just right, and the powerful garlic oil aroma worked like a treat with the sweet and fresh prawns, can't really fault it. The main event no1 was the suckling pig leg, seasoned to perfection, and the skin was super crispy. The meat was super moist and draw out all the great tastes from the bones and joints, it was a BBQ classic. The leg of a baby lamb was also outstanding, the ratio of fatty and lean meat had a great balance, and I really enjoy that small hint of smoky aroma which was extremely inviting.

El Senador does classic really well. Everything on display was really simple, you see what you get. The taste on the other hand was wonderful. When you have good ingredients and are handled by a team of good chefs, you will get something amazing, and that is what this restaurant is all about. While the service team doesn't speak good English (most are from an older generation), they try their best to address your need with a smile and that is what hospitality is all about.
